Before deciding to tryout, please carefully read and understand the information below:

You are committing to the WINTER COMPETITIVE CHEER SEASON, November through February 2.

You will be present at ALL practices, games, and competitions

Practices: Weekly practices will begin Tuesday, November 15. Plan to practice a minimum of 3 days a week, plus games and tumbling. All practice and games are MANDATORY. Exceptions will not be made for work, dance or other commitments. Further details regarding practice schedule will be discussed at first day of tryouts. Basketball game schedule can be found on the JV CALENDAR tab.

The following dates are MANDATORY. Absolutely ZERO exceptions will be made.

11/19-11/20   Choreography

1/14-1/15       Quaker Cheer Challenge (set-up and competition)

1/21                 North Tonawanda Cheer Competition

1/22                 Fredonia State Cheerleading Competition

1/28                 ECIC Winter Cheerleading Competition, Clarence High School

2/5                   Section VI Finals, Buffalo State College

** You will attend tumbling classes at Buffalo Envy All Stars on Sundays from 11-12 or 12-1 for $7/lesson

You acknowledge the cost associated with a competitive cheerleading program

Attached you will find a breakdown of anticipated start-up expenses.  Please be prepared to pay the applicable amount the first day of practice if you make the team.

(Expect to pay in FULL by November 15, 2016)

OPHS provides vest, skirt, team bodysuit, warm up jacket, warm up pants and two (2) poms. These items are returned to the school at the end of each season. Each girl is responsible for purchasing the following items. Most of items will carry through entire cheer career.
