Flight & Airport Info

We are flying: Spirit Airlines Flight #289 departing at 6:10 PM from Niagara Falls Airport arriving at 8:02 PM in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Please plan to arrive to the Niagara Falls Airport no later than 4:45 PM. Keep in mind rush hour and Grand Island bridge traffic and plan accordingly.

·         Check-in:

All passengers MUST PRINT BOARDING PASSES PRIOR TO ARRIVING AT AIRPORT!!! Spirit Airlines will charge you $10 to print these there so be prepared! We will figure out a way to print them off at the hotel for our returning flight J

·         Bag restrictions: I found this website to be helpful (and entertaining) when learning about flying Spirit.

Your “Free” personal item must meet the specification of 16x14x12 inches. Cheerleaders should plan to use their maroon backpack as their carryon with the following items only:

·         UNIFORM (skirt, shell, bodysuit)

·         Sneakers & socks

·         Competition bow

·         Black compression shorts

·         ID, money, phone

If you paid for a $30 checked bag, please make sure it is under 40 lbs; anything over starts at $25 per bag. The girls were encouraged to pack LIGHTLY since we will be in cheer gear most of the weekend! There is no need for multiple outfits, shoes, bags, etc.

General Weekend Itinerary:

Friday: Arriving at hotel around 9:00 PM, relax and early lights out.

Saturday: Leave for competition at 1:00 PM and compete at 3:30 PM, followed by dinner prepared by Coach Jill!

Sunday:  Leave for competition at 1:30 PM and compete at 4:12 PM. Award ceremony is scheduled for 6:00, followed by a team dinner at to be determined restaurant!

Monday: Early rise and free time on the Boardwalk. We will leave for the airport around 1:00 PM.
