Orchard Park High School Cheerleading

Our first fundraising car wash will be held SUNDAY July 31 from 11-3pm (CHEERLEADERS SHOULD ARRIVE AT 10:30) at VALVOLINE ON SOUTHWESTERN BLVD FIVE CORNERS ! Anyone planning to tryout should attend and help us raise funds for choreography, music, and various other season expenses!!  Our car washes are FREE but donations are graciously accepted!  Please bring any of the items listed below labeled with your name to ensure we return them! -buckets -car sponges -car soap -hoses -nozzles -hose splitter -towels -pre-made CAR WASH posters!  Please wear any OP cheer gear or maroon and white and bring a snack and drink!  See you then!

BEGINNIDNG JUNE 15, 2016 WEDNESDAYS 5:30-7:30 OPMS Fields, Meet near tennis courts! We will stretch, stunt, tumbling, jump, and review chants and cheer technique! EVERYONE planning to cheer in the falls should plan to attend!  **Varsity athletes will begin working advanced/elite stunting skills** if you don't show up, you can't learn! 

Orchard Park Cheer Family and Friends, Over the last eight years we have dedicated our time and effort to creating a winning cheer program at Orchard Park High School. With several championships including the first ever Section VI Large School Varsity Championship title, we have grown into a program that is widely respected throughout Western New York. We now find ourselves in a position to reach out for your help as we continue our mission to make OP cheer the very best program in Section VI.  We have proposed the addition of Modified Cheerleading to the OPMS sports lineup, however, the Board is not able to approve us at this time. In order to provide an outlet for our younger generation of Quaker cheerleaders to begin training to become state champions, we need you help in raising the necessary funds for a Modified Cheerleading coach. OPEN TUMBLING WILL NOW BE SUNDAYS 12-1 beginning May 1!! **No tumbling May 15 or May 29** BUFFALO ENVY ALL STARS 2600 Hamburg Turnpike Buffalo NY 14218 Cost is $7/girl per session! Please make a dedicated effort to attend on a regular basis. If less than 10 athletes attend, tumbling may be canceled or price may increase. This workout is open to any current 6-12 grade potential cheerleaders and all OP Cheer alumni! Be aware that our tumbling standards are increasing. JV cheer is looking for a standing back handspring and running back handspring with a goal of multiple back handsprings. These skills are not required to make the team, however you must show a strong desire to gain them. Varsity cheer will be looking for SOLID jump back handsprings (required to make the varsity) and running passes ending in back tucks.   Any questions contact the coaches here!
